Privacy Policy
We collect the smallest amount of personal data we need to run your order — and we tell you exactly what, why, and who we share it with.
Last updated · 2026-06-11
What we collect
- Account — your email address. If you sign in, your name (if you choose to give it).
- Order delivery — contact name, phone, address (region, city, area, street, landmark), and a payment reference from Paystack.
- Order history — what you bought, when, for how much, where it went.
- Technical — your IP address, browser user-agent, and basic logs from API requests. Used for fraud + abuse detection and debugging.
- Cart + wishlist— items you've added, kept on our servers so they sync across devices when you sign in.
We don't store your card number or mobile-money credentials. Paystack handles those directly and gives us back a tokenised reference and a status.
Why we collect it
- To fulfil your order — procurement, customs paperwork, courier hand-off, delivery confirmation.
- To send you order-related email (payment confirmation, transit updates).
- To detect and prevent fraud.
- To improve the storefront — anonymised analytics about what people browse and buy.
We don't sell your data. We don't use it for ad-network targeting.
Who we share it with
- Paystack — payment processor. We share the email and amount needed to initialise the transaction.
- Couriers (Speedaf, Bolt, DHL, etc.) — name, phone, delivery address. Only for orders going to that courier.
- Our consolidator + customs broker — the order manifest. No personal contact details unless required by customs.
- Infrastructure providers — Cloudflare R2 for images, Vercel for the storefront, DigitalOcean for the API, Neon for the database. These hold encrypted data on our behalf under data-processing terms.
How long we keep it
Active account + order data: as long as you have an account with us. Closed accounts: order history is retained for 7 years for tax and audit purposes; other personal data is deleted within 30 days of account closure.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what data we hold on you, correct any of it, or delete it entirely. Email privacy@procureglobal.net and we will respond within 30 days. Deletion may be partial where we have a legal obligation to retain certain records (tax, anti-fraud).
Cookies + similar
We use a small set of strictly-necessary cookies — your session cookie when you're signed in, and a guest-cart cookie so your cart survives a page refresh. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll email signed-in users at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" stamp above tells you when this version went live.
